Prime Minister Imran Khan signed the Budget 21-2020 documents

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has signed the Budget 21-2020 documents. The federal government will present the budget for the next financial year in Parliament today.

According to details, Prime Minister Imran Khan held consultations with Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Baburaowan on the budget, after which the Prime Minister signed the Budget 21-2020 documents.Prime Minister Imran Khan praised the economic team and also discussed strategy during the session in Parliament while Babar Awan briefed the Prime Minister on parliamentary matters.According to sources, the issue of increase in salaries and pensions was not discussed in the cabinet meeting and no decision could be taken in this regard. Earlier, a special meeting of the Federal Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan was held at the Prime Minister’s House in which the federal budget for the next financial year was presented for approval.

The federal cabinet has decided not to impose any tax and approved the tax proposals. The government will not impose any tax in the budget for the next financial year.It may be recalled that the federal government will present the budget for the next financial year in Parliament today. This second budget of the PTI government consists of about Rs 74 trillion.
